Look what we created with the Stamp of the Month

My friend & upline, Melissa Robinson created a couple of different pieces with the Stamp of the Month. The first one is a treat bag.

Fellow Close To My Heart consultant, Peggy Lawrence says, "I used the "Dotty for You" paper and made 2" boxes out of the B & T from the paper packet.  I attached the nine boxes with brads to make a shadow box effect.  It is two sided.  On one side are pictures of my husband and I and when you turn it around it has pictures of my Papillion, Missy and her boyfriend Rider and pictures of three of their five puppies they had together a few years ago."

Family Name Wall Hanging

I thought I would share what I've been creating in Studio J this week. I plan on putting this on a 12x24 canvas & using it as a wallhanging instead of a layout in an album. I'm just waiting on it to arrive in the mail. If you would like to create one of your own, just ask me how!

September Stamp of the Month Mini Blog Hop

My creation is a 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 card. I've been playing with Close To My Heart's new, exclusive Art Philosophy cartridge and I had cut out a small version of a card with a bracket cutout in the front section. Then I had cut out the tag with the Cricut in the right size to use with the Limited Edition stamp set. So, I decided to use the small card as a holder for the tag. Well, it was a little stark since I had cut it out of Colonial White cardstock. So, I ran the Desert Sand stamp pad over it to give it some color. Then I inked the edges in black & fastened the tag holder with some antique copper mini brads. Then, I went in search of a pattern that would look good with those elements. I found On the Edge in Wishes card confidence book & decided that would look good. I changed it up by turning it horizontally and instead of cutting the plaid B&T into a circle, I kept it as a square. Then, I punched out a scalloped circle out of the same paper but flipped it over so that the rose pattern on the reverse side would be seen. As a finishing touch, I added a small piece of the zip strip that all the newest B&T papers have. Doesn't it look cute with the scallops across the top?

Close To My Heart will not be discontinuing any colors of cardstock, but they will be selling only select colors in individual color packs. All colors will still be available in combo packs.

The colors that will continue to be sold in 24 sheet packs of one individual color are:

There’s nothing to buy and nothing to download. The program is so easy to use, if you can send an email with photos attached, you can use Studio J
If you already have an account with Close to My Heart on my website, you can just log in and start creating. If you haven’t created an account yet, it’s quick and painless. (And don’t worry, your information is completely safe, you won’t be added to any mailing lists.)
After you’ve created your layout, you can download and save your JPG file. Post it to your blog or facebook, email it to friends and family, or send it out for printing. If you have a 12x12 printer, you can print it at home.
If you’d like to have the best quality printing with 100+ year processing, order your print through Close to My Heart. That’s totally optional though, the JPG is completely free with no strings attached.
