I used Ruby and Olive ink to stamp the main image several times and cut it out in different areas to layer and make it dimensional.

The olive card front was stamped in Olive 2nd generation randomly all over to create texture and interest.

Quilling

At a recent team retreat, one of my fellow Close To My Heart Independent Consultants, Mary Collins, gave a demonstration on quilling. I had always been interested in trying it but had never been brave enough to actually complete anything. Well, I was inspired to give it a try since Mary was sitting next to me & could help. Here's a card I made using the techniques she demonstrated.

I'm sure people who know quilling wouldn't think it looks that great but I like the shabby look it has...even the messy stamping with a new, not completely seasoned stamp. There are no mistakes...just opportunities for embellishing & distressing.
