Plan Ahead!

Raise your hand if you have used planners for years and cannot imagine life without them. Now, let’s see a show of hands from those of you who may think you’re not “the planner type.” But are you actually the planner type? Answer these questions to find out! Are you a visual learner who loves to see your days laid out in front of you? Are you someone who can’t remember anything unless you physically write it down? Or are you a loyalist who prefers the purity of paper over electronics?
If you answered “yes” to even one of these questions, then get excited. Why? Because, as we announced at Brisbane Convention, we have created our own planner that we’ll be making available for order later this month! Take a look!
Check out this beautiful, customizable planner! #ctmh #closetomyheart #2016planner #organization #papercrafting
First, get your hands on our adorable three-ringed Everyday Life™ album. Its black cover with a gold foil floral design is sure to be the envy of all your friends. Then grab the Everyday Life™ 2016 planner pages, which include weekly and monthly spreads to help you focus in on the daily details but also remember your plans for the entire month. The planner pages also include four sheets of colorful label stickers, 12 trendy monthly dividers with tabs, and a bookmark-style page finder to help you turn quickly to the current day. To help you store receipts, fliers, and more, there’s also a pocket folder page. Is that organized or what?
Personalize your pages even more with the Everyday Life™ Perfect Plan roller stamp, which has phrases like “shopping list,” “no school,” and “don’t forget.” We’ve designed this roller stamp to coordinate with the label stickers; simply place the label sticker in your planner, and then stamp the phrase of your choice onto it. With several colors to choose from, you can color coordinate your reminders for organization perfection!
So pull out your current planner, family calendar, or even a Post-It note, and write this down: order the Close To My Heart planner as soon as it is available, later in November. We know this is a reminder you’ll appreciate all year long!

CTMH Paper Blog Hop - Sangria

 Melissa Sanchez-Robinson's photo.
Welcome to our blog hop this month where we are featuring the fun and NEW product line Sangria!

If your coming from the amazing Aggie at The Creative Beehive, you're on the right track!

I started out with one idea for my Sangria creation then changed my mind when I saw this absolutely gorgeous picture of my beautiful niece and her fiance. Because I only had access to the digital picture from Facebook and no time to print it, I figured I would just do the layout in Studio J. I went with one of the layouts in the Sangria Workshop on the Go. Is this paper perfect for this picture or what? Shout out to the fabulous photographer Megan Kelley from MK Creations! Awesome job Megan! Cute couple, too! Huh?

CTMH Paper Blog Hop - Zoe

 Melissa Sanchez-Robinson's photo.

Every month we share artwork with a new paper pack from the Close To My Heart Idea Book. This month we're using the brand new AWESOME Zoe. Now, if you're coming from my funny friend, Lisa Lawson's Blog you're on the right track. This is a great big circle, so, if you get back here, you've made all the way around the hop.

I used Studio J for my creation since I haven't had a chance to order the new paper pack just yet. I scrapped some pretty wildflowers that we saw along the way of the Blue Ridge Parkway.

I couldn't resist adding a couple more layouts of two of my grandsons made with the Zoe paper!

If you'd like to try out the Zoe paper in Studio J please click here and it will take you to my website where you can log on to Studio J. Be sure and look for the Zoe paper or try out any of the numerous other papers for your studio scrapbooking. Just pick out your photos for your layout and count them so you can pick out a layout with that many photos. Also, if you have any questions, please, feel free to contact me through email and I will respond as soon as I can!

Now, continue on the hop to see what the fabulous Michelle Brooks has created for you!

Blossom CTMH Paper Pack Focus Blog Hop

If your arriving from Melissa Davids' Blog then your on the right track! Blossom is the paper pack we're using this month for our hop. It's got beautiful spring-like colors that are so yummy you could just eat them!

Again, I'm using Studio J for my creation. I changed the color of one of the B&T papers because you can do that in Studio J! I thought the Smoothie was a better color for my photos than the original Sunset. I also adjusted the color intensity to be a little lighter. The original layout had 3 photos with a portrait orientation. I liked the way the paper strip lined up on the pages so I didn't want to turn the right page. I made the 2 photos into 1 photo and it's so easy to do! Just change the size in the photo box and you're good to go! But, of course, I needed more than 2 photos to tell the story...I just love how Madalyn used the bottom of her shirt to store the little blossoms that she was picking. So, I added a small photo spot and rotated it just a smidge to fill in the area where the fence was looming large in the first photo. But, none of the pictures I had used showed her pretty face...so, I added another small photo to the left page. Voila! Cute layout in just a few, short minutes!

If you'd like to try scrapbooking the Studio J way, then, Click Here.  Or, if you'd like to try your hand with the paper, then, Go Here! I'd love to have you shop with me for all your Close To My Heart purchases!

Now, hop on over to Aggie Peter's Blog  to see what she's be up to!

Thanks for stopping by and I hope to see you here again, soon!

I hope you enjoyed Michelle's unique canvas if you're coming from Michelle Loncar's Blog
You're on the Technique Hop! This month we've designed our own canvas artwork to showcase the many different ways you can use the cute 6x6 artist's canvasses that CTMH sells. I've chosen to create "She Art" with mine. What's that? Well, it's a way of describing what you're like or hope to be like and using scraps to design it! I hope you like it!
